One of Korea's biggest hits of 2009, the lighthearted SBS drama Shining Inheritance (a.k.a. Brilliant Legacy) has attracted over 30% viewership ratings with its Cinderella tale of sweet feuding romance. Star Han Hyo Ju (Iljimae) plays the young and spunky Eun Sung, who goes from riches to rags after her father passes away. Local station GMA 7 had been granted the broadcast license of Shining Inheritance. The tagalized version of the TV drama has been shown every weeknights in the the primetime block, just after Survivor Philippines Palau.
Helmed by On Air and Painter of the Wind music director Jeon Chang Yeop, the Shining Inheritance OST comes with 16 tracks including Loveholic's hit love theme "Crazy in Love" (Track 3) plus songs from Isu of M.C the Max, K.Will, Loveholic, and Kang Ha Ni. The pinoy themesong of the show, on the other hand, is "I Will" performed by Kris Lawrence and features Star Magic talent Denise Laurel.
