Pinoy Myx Countdown (September 2009)

September's Pinoy Myx Countdown is a mix of new and old entries. The countdown's #1 song, Hale's Bahay Kubo, overtakes Sarah Geronimo's Dahil Minahal Mo Ako, which sits at #2. Another song of Sarah Geronimo, Something New in My Life, shoots up in the countdown to be the #5 song this month. Apparently, the song has become more popular as In My Life, the movie in which it is the themesong is nearing its playdate. In My Life, the comeback movie of Vilma Santos also stars John Lloyd Cruz and son Luis Manzano. John Lloyd Cruz is Sarah Geronimo's leading man in her previous blockbuster movies, where she also sung the themesongs.
